Famous Aboriginal singer, artist, didjeridoo player and edutainer, Dr David Hudson will be speaking about William Cooper, the father of NAIDOC at a NAIDOC event we are hosting on 7 July at 5.30pm. David played the didjeridoo at the official ceremony for the Be’er-Sheva centenary in Israel in 2017. We are blessed to have Rabbi Ari Rubin from Chabad speaking as well.
This amazing event at the Munganbana Aboriginal Art Gallery 33 Lake Street Cairns won’t be a book launch now as the children’s book on William Cooper is on hold as we have some issues to sort out. We are blessed that Shoshana Linnane will be in Cairns so we will take the opportunity to hear from her and Barbara Miller re the Schools Antisemitism Education Project they have been working on and it will be the first launch of that project. Shoshana has done a wonderful job as curriculum writer. We hope to launch it in capital cities around the Australia in the near future as we meet with education authorities. If you can help open doors for us, please do.

We are blessed to have Norman Miller as MC and he will launch the project and entertain us. We will also show a short video and enjoy refreshments. So RSVP to munganbana@bigpond.com and attend if you are nearby. Please spread the word.
